My sincere sympathy to Dwayne's family. I taught Dwayne at Judique-Creignish quite a few years ago, and I remember him as a very kind young man, doing what he had to do in a quiet but capable way . I was not surprised to read that he enjoyed being a father and that he was a good father. May your good memories of Dwayne help you as you go through this difficult time.

Jess and the MacDonnell Family - I write to express the sincere condolences of all Patricias on the death of James MacDonnell. The Regiment remembers his service, and his name will be read out in the Sacred Space at Beechwood the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa on 11 November 2021. His name will also be listed in the Last Post section of the annual publication of the regiment, The Patrician in its 2021 edition. We are glad that James had an interesting life after his time in the Canadian Forces, and that he had a vibrant family who supported him. Thank you all. James was a very kind gentleman and I'm happy to have had the pleasure of meeting him and being a step father to his 3 oldest Aj , Ireland and Aiden. We've always got along and collaborated on parenting the kids for the best. I will miss his smile and sharing pictures & videos and having laughs together. James will be truly missed and i will continue to love his kids all the same. RIP big guy.
