Sweet Aunt Patsy Always smiling. Noone else would greet me with continued excitement and curiosity:) So many happy memories when we were young with Aunt Patsy. I remember her big 50 birthday party so well. It was so fun. Watching shows in the kitchen, her petunia baskets were the biggest in St Fran and those tall pink cosmo flowers she planted by the mailbox will always remind me of her. She would make us forever snacks and record any shows we wanted on VHS. Always creating space and being patient with our giggles. My deepest condolences and sympathy. It is with much sorrow that I learned of Patsy's passing online this week. Having grown up along The Shore Road, I was one of the many who were blessed to share conversations with Patsy and to benefit from the joy that she seemed to bring to every discussion. Over the years, stopping to have a short chat with Danny and Patsy after mass, or revelling in a longer exchange at an event in the Church Hall, always made one's visit to the homeland a more rewarding experience. I know that whenever my next visit comes, it will be all the poorer with Patsy's absence. I can only imagine the loss that You all must be experiencing. I pray hat when the time is right, that You all will be able to gather and to share the memories that Patsy leaves behind with You all. She made the world a better place. May she rest in peace.
