I was saddened to learn of Bud's passing when speaking with my Mom. One could not have been raised along "The Shore Road" and not been aware of who Bud was. Though Bud and my Dad, Joe, both went "Down the Road" together, Bud held on a little longer in "THE BIG SMOKE" than my Dad did before returning home to The Shore Road. My childhood years in Hadleyville were times of youthful adventurous bicycle travels along Route 344, a roadway frequented by those who benefited from learning their driving skills from Bud! I also learned at a young age to always listen carefully and look both ways before crossing the road! I hope that you all will be able to safely remenice and share your memories of Bud. My next journey on Sandpoint Hill won't be the same. Rest in peace Bud.

Uncle Bud was a larger-than-life figure who was part of all our growing up. We could usually be found somewhere between Gram's and his and Aunt Marilyn's place. Sand Point was a great place to grow up and coming back as an adult I was always comforted to know Uncle Bud was keeping watch on who came and went down the lane. I'll miss stopping in to see him. He was always happy to see my pup and sometimes me too! I'll miss you Uncle Bud and I'm glad I had the chance to be neighbors as an adult. Love and hugs to my cousins and Aunt. Sharri
