Nightingale, Albert "Bert" – Port Shoreman, Guysborough Co. Passed away suddenly on Monday, February 1, 2021 at home in his 86th year. Bert was born in 1935 in Portsmouth, England and moved his family to Canada in 1964 eventually settling in Georgetown, Ontario where he remained for 45 years. He spent a large portion of his life caring for his beloved wife, Sheila (Armstrong) who was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis. He was involved in the sport of pigeon racing for almost his entire life, racing birds at clubs in England in his youth and Ontario after moving to Canada. Bert is survived by children, Kevin (Susan), Tony (Louise), Lee (Lisa) and Tammy (Mark); grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Adam, Meagan, Kaitlin, Ashley & Nicole and great-grandchildren, Emry and Briar; sisters, Doreen and Sheila. He was predeceased by his wife, Sheila and siblings, Joan and Peter.
