Campbell, Darlene Ann – West Arichat, Richmond Co. On Wednesday, July 29, 2020 Darlene, loving partner, mother and friend passed away at her residence at the age of 61.
Darlene was born in The Points, West Bay to the late John Roy and Jean (Parker) Campbell on February 7, 1959. In Darlene's early years she worked many different jobs but her passion came for taking care of other's loved ones. She worked for Richmond County Home Support for many years before her health troubles inhibited her from doing so.
Darlene was like no other, if you needed a helping hand, she was sure to be right there. Over the years, Darlene made many friends. Those who knew her, knew she was sure to brighten up your day with her beautiful smile. She was always ready to tell a good story or a humorous joke. She could always be found with a cup of hot chocolate by her side. In the evenings, Francis and her would play crib. Gosh knows Francis would give her a good skunk. However, she was the first to give him a double skunk. Her love of music was extensive. Her passion for nature was pure. Her love for family and friends never wavered.
Darlene is survived by her devoted common-law-partner, Francis Forgeron, West Arichat; her caring son, Roy Stark (Breina), Port Hawkesbury. She will be missed by her three step-sons, Travis Forgeron (Jennifer), Arichat; Timmy Forgeron (Geneva), Louisdale and Todd Forgeron, West Arichat; her step-grandaughters, Addison, Olivia and Shelby will all miss her dearly. Darlene was predeceased by a sibling in infancy.
