Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hendsbee, William Troy – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Troy at home in Half Way Cove at the age of 51 on Monday, July 26, 2021. Troy was a big cuddly grizzly bear of the family with a dry sense of humour that would always make you laugh. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, and digging in the woodpile. He could often be found just relaxing on the deck enjoying his coffee and planning his next trip to the camp at the lake. He spent his time tinkering on old cars and fixing anything that had a motor in it. Troy was quite content to just crank up some tunes and head to the kitchen and cook up a storm and man could he cook the best meals and his biscuits were amazing.
Troy is survived by his girlfriend of 9 years, Mandy Mosher; daughter, Alyssa Webber, New Glasgow; son, Calvin Hendsbee, Half Way Cove; loving sister, Bonnie (Alvin) Richards, Port Hawkesbury; estranged sister, Gloria and estranged brother, Robert; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn Troy is a very special friend and second mom to him, Brenda Hendsbee, who meant the world to him. Troy was predeceased by his loving parents, Lewis and Victoria Hendsbee and a brother in infancy.
In keeping with Troys wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial to be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
