HENDSBEE, Frances Helena … 57, Halfway Cove, Guysborough, Co., died Monday June, 9, 2008 after a lengthy battle with Scleroderma in the Q. E. II Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (Haines) Casey. Frances was a homemaker who loved to knit and read in her past time. She is survived by her husband Raymond; sons John (Mona), East Chezzetcook, Ronnie, at home, Trevor (Keri), Halifax; sisters Lucy (George) O’Hearn, Mississauga, Ont., Jean Casey (Robert Landry), Heatherton, Mary Johnston (John Strickland), Murray River, P.E.I., Ruth (Darryll) Greencorn, Yellow Marsh, Myrna Richardson, Auld’s Cove; brothers Ralph (Dorothy), Larry’s River, Richard (Ann), Keith (Barbara Ann), both of Little Dover; grandchildren Johnathan, Monica, Tylor, Isaac; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters in infancy, brothers Ronnie, Howard, Brent. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday in St. James Anglican Church, Halfway Cove, from where the funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday with Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
