Clyke, Vivian Martha … 76, Sunnyville, Guysborough Co., died Monday, December 1, 2008, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Sunnyville, December 20, 1931 she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Mintus) Clyke. Vivian was a retired domestic and home care worker, living most of her life in Halifax and an adherent of Cornwallis Baptist Church, returning to Sunnyville in 2006 to live with her sister and brother-in-law Janie and Clyde Mansfield. She is survived by sisters, Clara Belle Jordan, Guysborough and Janie (Clyde) Mansfield, Sunnyville; brothers, Harry and Victor both of Sunnyville; aunt Gertrude Borden, Guysborough Vivian also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth ”Duke”, Frederick, Claire, William and Charlie ; sisters, Gussie, Maryand Adeline. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Sunnyville United Baptist Church, Pastor Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
