DEAL, Leonard Robert "Lenny" — 54, East Lake Anslie formerly of Terence Bay, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Leona (Shubley) Deal, White's Lake and the late Gordon "Dickie" Deal. Lenny's passion was being a truck driver. He loved being on the water, loved going to the beach and just packing up the car and going for a drive wherever, he loved being outdoors, and the remodeling our home. He loved to do crosswords. Lenny's favourite passion was for cooking. Lenny was always there to help out anyone who needed it. Leaving to mourn are his loving companion, Brenda Little; his daughters, Ashlea (Ryan Morash) and Chelsea (Evan Ward) both of Halifax; sister, Sharon (Doug) Ashad, Debert; brothers, Gordie (Judy) Deal, Brookside, Bernard (Joann) Deal, White's Lake, Barry (Karen) Deal, Terence Bay. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service, a celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday from Blessed Katerie Parish, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Waycobah, with Father Robert McNeil officiating.
