Pendleton, Jack Samuel – Canso. Age 83 years. With Broken hearts we regret to announce the death of Jack Samuel Pendleton who passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2020 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Jack was born on January 16, 1937 in Picton Ontario; he was a son of the late Elroy Minto and Mary Edith (Brown) Pendleton of Picton, Ontario,
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Feltmate) Pendleton; his sons, Derrick Pendleton, Edmonton; Michael Pendleton (Jean), Little Dover; Greg Boudreau, Canso; stepchildren, Ronnie Boudreau (Dallas), Doug Boudreau (Glenda), and Valerie Boudreau; and many grandchildren; sister, Helen Stefanik (John) of Vernon, BC; brother, Leslie Pendleton (Patricia), Kingston Ontario. Besides his parents Jack was predeceased by his brother, Donnie Pendleton.
Jack was known for the good-hearted person he was. He was liked by everyone he met; he was a real gentleman. his favored thing to do was to swing dance at the dances with his wife, Alice they were watched by everyone.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31 from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 121 School St., Canso.
In keeping with COVID -19 guidelines, all attendees will be asked to provide their names and telephone number upon arrival at the funeral home. Social distancing protocols are to be followed and masks are mandatory.
