MOORE (White), Elizabeth Diane - Port Hawkesbury, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and four daughters on Saturday April 24, 2021, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in New Glasgow on August 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late George White and Isabella (Reekie) Mackenzie. Mom was a natural born caregiver. At a young age she dedicated her life to care for others, she also helped to care for her younger siblings growing up. Mom always put other needs ahead of her own, she cared for both of her parents at home when they became ill until their passing. We feel extremely fortunate to have had our mom be able to be at home with us growing up, eventually taking a position with Ocean Nutrition in Mulgrave as a custodian for 15 years before leaving due to her COPD progressing. We will be forever grateful to our father for the care he gave mom for the past 10 years, he devoted many hours making mom comfortable enough to remain at home for so long. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 49 years, Clarence Moore; her girls, Sandra (Roger) MacLeod, Isabel (Steven) Welsh, Laurie (Gerry) Breen, Marilyn (Chris) Moore; special great niece, Savanna (Mark) Van veld; siblings, Sandra, Catherine, George, and Pamala. Also surviving are her grandchildren whom she lover dearly, Clarney, Elizabeth, Cody, Tory, Daylan, Xavier, Logan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Charlie, Marilyn, Joseph; grandson, Brandon MacLeod and nephew, John MacEachern in infancy. Mom will be missed greatly by all who knew her. A special thanks to Dr. Gallivan, Dr. Pluta, Kyla MacKeigan, all the nurses in the emergency department and on the medical unit at the Strait Richmond Hospital for all of their care. Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral by request.
