My sincere condolences to Pat and Sandra and family. I had not seen Daryll for years but we had been next door neighbours a couple of times in the 1980's . We mostly lost contact after I took a job in another province and only returned to NS a few years ago. Daryll was a great guy and a strong indomitable spirit. He will be missed and I will always cherish his memory and the times we spent together. Rest In Peace old friend.

My sincerest sympathies to Daryll's family & friends. You don't know me, but I am the RN that was with Daryll in Haverstocks Ambulance that transported him to the Burn Unit in Halifax. I comforted him, gave him Pain Meds & helped to keep him calm during the transfer. He talked the whole way there about his family. Many years later I was able to talk to him & told him who I was. He was very appreciative of his care. Daryll was a very special man. I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss.
