So very to hear of Naomi's passing. In the last few years I got to know Naomi and I truly enjoyed our time together. Her house always smelled amazing from whatever she would be baking that day and would love to sit and have a lite conversation about people that we knew in common. I wear a cardinal on my coat from her with honour. Thinking of the family at this difficult time.

I was saddened to learn of Naomi's passing when checking into The Homeland online this week. Having grown up in Hadleyville myself, meeting members of the extensive Welsh family were not infrequent occurrances anywhere in the Strait Area! Encountering Naomi was always a memorable occasion, and despite the occurances of such welcomed events having slowly vanished over the years, with increases in distances and changes in times, Naomi still vividly remains a found memory of life on The Shore Road. She will be missed. Please gather safely and celebrate her life and the memories she leaves with you all. May Naomi rest in peace, knowing that her legacy lifes on in her family and friends. God bless.
