KING, Olive Mary - 89, Port Hawkesbury, died Monday, September 10, 2007, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Point Tupper, Richmond Co., Olive was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's United Church, Port Hawkesbury, a member of the U.C.W., Evergreen Senior Citizens Club and Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Port Hawkesbury. Olive is survived by daughter, Susan (Simon) Ryan, Port Hawkesbury; son, Percy Jr. (Diane), Edmonton, Alta.; grandchildren, Tracey, Carrie, Troy, Robyn; great-grandchildren, Jack, Keegan, Lucy, Charlie, Logan, Josie. Olive was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy; brothers, Kenny MacDonald, Alex MacDonald, Currie MacDonald, Hughie MacDonald, and Bill MacDonald. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mark's United Church, with Rev. James Bragan officiating. Burial in Southbrook Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's United Church or to a charity of your choice.
