Born in Souris, P.E.I., Corey was a son of Melvin and Darlene (Gallant) King, Souris, P.E.I. He is survived by his biological father, Frankie Godin, Bridgetown, P.E.I.; his common-law wife, Melissa M. Munroe, Antigonish; daughters, Cheyenne King, at home; Jami King, Souris, P.E.I.; son, Michael King, at home; sisters, Roxanne King, Souris, P.E.I.; Tanya Godin, Bridgetown, P.E.I.; brother, Derrick King, Souris, P.E.I. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
