Hull, John Harding … 81, Guysborough formerly of Middle Manchester. Went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Guysborough. Born in Middle Manchester, Guysborough Co., on July 11, 1927 he was a son of the late Harding J. and Carrie (Myers) Hull. John was a farmer, a member of the former Boylston Baptist Church and a resident of Milford Haven Home for Special Care, before he became ill he enjoyed his daily walks. John was known for his wonderful garden, a faithful neighbour, a loving father and a hard worker. He also enjoyed his trips to P.E.I . John is survived by his daughter Kathleen (Greencorn-Luddington) Baker, Des Moines, Iowa, sisters Florence Campbell , Glen Keen; Lottie Imlay, Boylston; grandchildren Tim, Starla (Lucas) and Joel, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Dorothy Simpson and Levina Mae Hayden.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Monday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday from Guysborough Baptist Church, Rev. Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial in Manchester Cemetery. The family would like to send their special thanks to Milford Haven Home for Special Care and Guysborough Memorial Hospital for their loving care of John.
