Hadley, Thomas Seymour – 76, Riverview Adult Residential Centre, Riverton formerly of Hadleyville, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008, in Aberdeen Regional Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Oyster Ponds, Guysborough Co., Thomas was a son of the late Wentworth and Mary Ada (Porper) Hadley. Thomas was a retired fisherman and woodsman, he was a member of the former Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Hadleyville. Thomas is survived by sisters, Mary Alice Allen, New Glasgow, Florence MacDonald, Linacy, Pictou Co., Lena (Ernie) Dwyer, Truro; brother Earl (Shirley) Montreal, Que., several nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by sister, Margaret; brothers, Ernest, Lewis and Howard. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date, in Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Hadleyville. Memorial donations may be made to the Riverview Adult Residential Centre, Riverton or to a charity of your choice.
