HORTON, George Theodore - 75, Roachvale, Guysborough Co., died Saturday, November 22, 2008, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Born in Roachvale, he was a son of the late William L. and Myrtle L. (Porter) Horton.
George was a retired laborer and woodsman, and a member of Wesley United Church, Guysborough. He is survived by brother, Edgar, Antigonish; a niece and six nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marion Worth, Myrtis Dort; brothers, Billy and Howard.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough, Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
