LAVOIE, Alice Marie (Houle) - 88, Port Hawkesbury, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Alice was born in Moose Creek, Ontario. Alice is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughter Colette Wakley, Florida; son Wayne (Bernice Burton) Tremblay, Port Hawkesbury, N.S.; grandchildren Daniel, Pierre, Dean, Yvan; great grandchildren Marie-Eve, Jonathan, Samuel, Julien, Marie-Pierre, Emilie; great great grandchild Alex. She was predeceased by her parents Pierre Houle and Clara Seguin, brother Rheal, granddaughter Caroline, brothers Albert, Filorome, Gerard, Emile, Oscar, Maurice, sisters Aurore, Irene, Jeanne. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Friday at 11:30am with Father Hughie D. MacDonald officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
