MacIver, Ena Margaret- 63, Gillis Cove, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at home. Born in Inverness, Inverness Co., she was a daughter of the late John Duncan and Alexis (Ferguson) MacCalder. She was a member of Orangedale Presbyterian Church and WMS. She is survived by her stepmother, Christina MacCalder , Orangedale, daughter, Alexis (Jerry) Gerrits, Lloydminster, SK; son William (Mary Ann), North River Bridge; sister Margie Belle (Kent) Holiday, Toronto, Ont. ; brothers, Sandy, Orangedale; Gussie (Donna), Lexington; Ian (Kathy), Orangedale and Dale, Vancouver, BC; grandchildren Joseph, Joshua, Jerri Lynn Gerrits, Courtney MacIver, Marlee Boone, Michael and Owen Matheson, several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Ena was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, brother, Frank, and one sister and two brothers in infancy. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Orangedale Presbyterian Church, Rev. Lloyd Murdock officiating. Burial will be in Gillis Cove Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
