PARDOE, Ellena - 64, Baddeck, formerly of Little Narrows, died Monday, August 20, 2007, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Inverness, she was a daughter of Grantie (Cummings) MacLellan, Whycocomagh, and the late Norman MacLellan. Ellena was a homemaker and an adherent of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church. She is survived by loving companion Bert Nicholson, Baddeckdaughter, Rosslyn (William) MacDonald, Fort McMurray, Alta.; sons, Jerome, Fort McMurray, Alta.; Brian, Baddeck; brother, Robert (Linda), Glendale; grandchildren, Tanya (Edward) MacDonald, Melodie Bonaparte, Molly Brown, Cindy Pardoe, Katelyn MacDonald; great-grandchildren, Rianna MacDonald, Logan, Trenton and Talon Lapointe. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Melodie in infancy; great-grandson, Trevor. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday in Little Narrows Cemetery, Rev. Adam Lees officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Little Narrows Cemetery.
