To Mary’s Family, Our family was blessed to have Mary as our mother’s , the late Viola O’Neil, home support worker . She gave her excellent care and always had time for a brief visit with all of us . Mary was unfailingly pleasant , funny , caring and warm .
My sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of this beautiful woman. To lose both of your parents in such a short time has to be extremely difficult. However, she and Jimmy are together once again , happy and at peace .I hope this gives you some measure of comfort.

Mary was indeed a lovely lady. I haven’t seen her recently but whenever I was home (I live out west and now live in Dartmouth) and at a dance… she always had a big smile and was so happy to see everyone. She always had time to talk….

Mary was a special friend over the years- She would always smile when we would meet and exchange stories- She was devoted to her family, and she and Jimmy did a wonderful job bringing up their 4 children. So so sad that you all have to endure this pain two-fold.
Your mother was a lovely person who, whenever we met up, I would have a great chat. She was so friendly, kind, gentle and caring.
