ALEXANDER, Kenneth A. – 81, Lime Hill, Inverness Co. The family of Kenneth A. Alexander are saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the Inverary Manor, Inverness at the age of 81. Kenneth had a peaceful passing and was surrounded by his family. Kenneth was born in New Castle, N.B. on May 25, 1931 and was the son of the late Allan and Elmira " Lydie "(Cobb) Alexander. In 1961 Kenneth and his family moved to Port Hawkesbury where he was employed at N.S. Pulp and Paper. He remained with this company until he retired from his position as Human Resources Manager in 1993. Following his retirement, Kenneth enjoyed life at his home in Lime Hill on the Bras D’or Lakes. Kenneth is survived by daughter, Brenda (Brad) Morris, Lime Hill; son, Peter (Shannon), Lime Hill; granddaughters, Sarah, Amanda and Paige. Visitation will be from 7-9p.m. Friday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to Lime Hill Cemetery.
