Austin Linda Jean – 54 of Skye Glen , Inv. Co. died Wednesday, December 06,2006 in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney she was a daughter of Lillian (MacLean ) MacAskill, Roseburn, Inverness County. Surviving are her husband Kenneth; sister Elizabeth (Richard) Chandler, Roseburn; brothers Malcolm Dan Edmonton; Donald Stewart, Gabarus; John Angus, Edmonton; nieces Amy, Chrisie, Kyla, Lee Ann,; nephews Brennan, and Matthew. She was predeceased by stepfather, Donald John MacAskill; nephew Michael. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Private graveside service will be held in the Skye Glen Cemetery, Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Family and friends will gather at the Skye Glen Centerville Community Center 11 a.m. Monday. Memorial donations may be made to the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Society.
