ANDERSON, Loretta - 87, Havre Boucher, Antigonish Co., died peacefully in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 8, 2004. Born in Mulgrave, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen (Stafford) Webb. She was a homemaker and an exceptional caregiver, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed every opportunity to be with friends. She never missed a chance to read the local papers, a good novel and to knit. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Havre Boucher, a lady of strong faith, and was an inspiration to many.
She is survived by daughter, Ruth (Bill) Innis, Havre Boucher; sons, Allan (Gail), Martin (Shelley), both of Havre Boucher; grandchildren, Jason Nicholson, Moncton; Hyla Nicholson, Halifax; Blaine (Jennifer) Anderson, Mulgrave; Keri Anderson, Edmonton; Jenna, Adam, Matthew and Laura Anderson, Havre Boucher; great-grandchildren, Kolten, Kasidy and MacKenzie Anderson, Mulgrave; brother, Father John G. Webb, Boisdale. She was predeceased by her husband, Hyland; brothers, Xavier, Berkmans and Stephen Webb; son-in-law, Billy Nicholson.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, and Tuesday 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in St. Paul's Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Father Alex MacLellan officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace, Monastery, St. Paul's Centre or a charity of your choice.
