I remember Ann very well. She was a beautiful lady.In the early 90s when she taught grade 2 perhaps, she was proud to give each pupil a $2 bill for graduation.I always saved it for my daughter, Erica.Take care.
So sorry I did not get to the wake. Ann was a very fine lady and I was very priviledged to work with her in Eastern Star and when I did substitute teaching in Orangedale School many years ago. She set a good example for a young teacher to follow, including me. She certainly was an asset to the many groups to which she belonged and to the community. She will be missed but not forgotten. Thanks and God Speed, Ann!
Ann was a real community builder, always well organized, as good planners are. The community was never the same after she and Jim had to move away to higher care in Baddeck. it is even more so now. we are truly sorry and offer from the heart our condolences. Diane and Steve Sober.
My heart is sad to learn of Ann's passing. She was such a hard working person and gave of herself over and over. We will all miss you dear friend but you have been released from a life that was not like you ..My love and sympathy to her family and friends.Sincerly Sally.
Anne and Jim were the best neighbors you could ever wish for, they made us feel immediately that we were part of the community. Anne will be missed, we have many happy and fond memories of our time spent living next to them.
