MacDonald, Mila Anita – Hadleyville, Guys Co. It is with profound sadness that we have to announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Mila. She was born and passed on Tuesday, October 1st,, 2019 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish surrounded by more love than most experience in an entire lifetime. She was loved in a way that no words can convey, from the day her mom and dad found out they were expecting till the day she entered the world, and had to join her awaiting loved ones in Heaven, who must have been quick to embrace her in their loving arms, especially Dr. Anita Foley. She was perfect in every way, which was captured in her 3D ultrasound and will be treasured forever, that gave a glimpse of her father’s smile and her mother’s strength. Left to mourn her passing are her parents, Loretta (Pettipas) and Brian, along with proud big brother, Landon. Mila was the granddaughter of Elizabeth & Michael Spears and Patricia & Bernard MacDonald. Mila is survived by her uncles, Bradley (Brenna) and Chad (Ashley) Pettipas, Jeremy (Melissa) Spears, and Mark (Alicia) MacDonald. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Ozzie Torrey. Mila touched the lives of many, as her existence radiated through the happiness and love shown by Loretta & Brian over the past nine months. Mila was loved and will be missed by her entire GMH family. A private graveside service will be held at St. Columba Parish Cemetery, Lakevale with Father Andrew Boyd officiating. She will be laid to rest with her paternal great-grandfather, Eugene MacDonald. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Martha’s Hospital Auxiliary.
