TREMBLAY, Phyllis Marie - Age 89, Kempt Road, Richmond Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Born in North Sydney she was a daughter of the late Philip and Susan (Warren) Francis. Phyllis was a member of the former Lions Club in Port Hawkesbury. She was an avid crafter, bingo player and cake decorator. She dedicated many years to the blood donor clinic.
Surviving are her children, Anne Marie (GJ) LeBlanc, Phyllis Lorraine (Dave) Ryan, Roger (Donna) Tremblay, Robert (Valerie) Tremblay, Sandra (Leo) Roberts, David (Marilyn)Tremblay; siblings, Clar May, Norma Burmingham, Eileen Billard, Queenie Perry; son-in-law, Malcolm MacEachern;step sister, Ethel Poulsen; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give many thanks to the medical team of Dr’s, nurses, physiotherapists and home care workers. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Tremblay; children, Susan MacEachern, Norma Tremblay; sister, Dot Hartlen; step brother, Phil May;step father, Isaac May.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 15, at 11 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery, Lower River Inhabitants with Father Duncan Mac Isaac officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
