Sangster, Kirk Douglas - Age 54 years of Hortons Cove Road, Guysborough Co. Passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 with family by his side in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Guysborough; he was a son of Debra (Hendsbee) Sangster and the late Victor Sangster.
Kirk worked for Nova Scotia Power for several years and later he worked for Galeb Construction and Robin Cook.
He is survived by his mother, Debra, Hortons Cove Rd.; brother, James (Karen), Milford; his estranged wife, Elaine; daughter, Krystal; grandchildren, Adison, Xavier and Liam; several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Victor Sangster.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 4 from 5-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m., from Guysborough Baptist Church, with Pastor Clara Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations in memory of Kirk may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
