MacDonald, Donald John "D.J." – Age 70 years of Central Blissville, NB formerly of Little Narrows, Victoria County. Passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. DJ was born in Sydney; he was a son of the late Alexander and Cecilia (MacNeil) MacDonald. He worked as a diamond driller for 49 years; over 30 of those years were with Logan Drilling until his retirement in 2014. D.J. is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Phyllis (Ambrose); sisters, Sandra (Charles) Ellis and Mora (Dougie) Nicholson both of Little Narrows; brother-in-law, Edwin Peterson, Little Narrows; nieces and nephews, Charlene, Donna, Gerard, Lorraine, Danny and Michael; grandnieces and grandnephews, Anita, Evan, Lauren, Alex, Hannah, Sarah, Katherine, Annabelle, Gabrielle. D.J. was predeceased by his sister, Claire Peterson (Little Narrows). Burial will be held at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery, McKinnon’s Harbour.
