BAKER, Donald Peter - Age 66, Orangedale, Inverness Co., passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017, in the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Wilburn, Inverness Co., he was a son of the late Charles and Minnie (Reid) Baker. Surviving are his sisters, Irene (Charles) Bright; Jennifer "Jenny" Baker (Sandy MacDonald); Brenda (James) Langille; brother, Alfred Baker; nieces and nephews, Melody Shaw (John); Darlene Baker, Carolyn Baker; Thomas Langille, Darryl Lee Langille; Francis Bright, Robert Bright, Lillian Mae Bright-Williams, Charles Carson Bright, Roderick M. Bright, Charlotte Bright-Bernard; 15 grand nieces and nephews; over 200 cousins and many other relatives. He was predeceased by his brother, Leonard Baker. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, May 28 at 4:30 p.m. in Stewartdale Cemetery with Rev. Karen Ross officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
