RICHARD, Marguerite Frances- Age 83, Hureauville, Richmond Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in the QEII Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born on June 11, 1933, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Frances (Duffey) Raniere. Marguerite was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Lower River Inhabitants and St. Francis de Sales C.W.L. She was always an active member of the community. Surviving are her husband, Peter, Hureauville; daughter, Christine Rodgers, Lower Sackville; sons, William (Connie), Keith (Karen), both of Dartmouth; Ronald, Hureauville; Raymond (Paula), Halifax; sister, Valarie Palmeter, Lower Sackville; brothers, Raymond (Marlene), Moncton; Robert (Mary), Dartmouth; Allan (Lyse), Ottawa; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Joyce, Madeline and Bernice; brother, Donald Lloyd. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville St. Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday from St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
