BOUDREAU (Casey), Nora Mae - Canso Seaside Manor, in her 95th year, passed away peacefully in the manor surrounded by family on Saturday, January 20, 2007. Born in Little Dover, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late John and Lena (Gurney) Casey.
She was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Little Dover. She was a former choir member who loved music and singing. In her earlier years she was the local postmistress. She is survived by daughters, Shirley, Antigonish; Ruth (Reg) Feltmate, Lower Sackville; sons, Ronald, Little Dover; Gary (Pat), Halifax; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Doyle and Bernice Bond, both of Little Dover; Ruby (Ambrose) Horne, Antigonish. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Capt. Douglas Boudreau; son, Lloyd; daughter-in-law, Winnifred Boudreau; son-in-law, Dougald MacDougall; sisters, Ruth in infancy, Lucy, Pauline, Eileen; brothers, Carl, Harry, Delmore, and Clyde.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2–9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery.
