BURTON, Graham Steward - 32, Cleveland, Richmond Co., died Monday, October 10, 2005, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Steward and Cassie (MacKinnon) Burton. Graham loved riding his Vmax and hanging out with his friends playing his guitar. He took great pride in running his own vacuum business. Graham was touched by everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Surviving are his loving common-law wife, Alison MacRae; son, Brandon; daughter, Samantha; loving sisters, Lillena (Leslie) MacDonald, Kimberly Meagher, Tammy (Charles) Lampley; nephews, Michael and Aaron; nieces, Kathleen and Cassie Emma; loving grandmother, Lillian Burton; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by grandparents, John Burton, Alex Dan and Katie Mae MacKinnon; uncles, George, Walter, Steward; aunt, Mary.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Creignish, with Father Hughie D. MacDonald officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
