On Wednesday, February 4th, 2015, Tiyari Omar Robinson, 14 months, of Monastery, Antigonish Co., lost his battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 1. Tiyari was the son of Jeffeth and Ariel Robinson of Monastery. He is survived by one older sister, Sharithia Robinson; paternal grandmother, Eulalee Robinson, Jamaica; maternal grandparents, Stella Gerro and Burton Clyke, Monastery; maternal great-grandmother, Katherine Gerro, Monastery, several nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015, in the Tracadie United Baptist Church on L-1 Rd, Monastery from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Reverend Warren Fitzgerald will be performing the service and where the family and friends will be officiating the graveside services. Jeffeth and Ariel would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses that contributed to Tiyari’s care and for their compassion and support. The Robinson family was blessed with an amazing 14 months with Tiyari, before he went to his heavenly home. Contributions in Tiyari’s memory can be made to the IWK Health Centre in Halifax.
