ROBERTSON, Bridget Margaret – 85, River Bourgeois, Richmond Co., passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Kingston, Ont, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Rita (Scanlan) Clark. Bridget was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, River Bourgeois. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy Cranidge, Halifax; sons, Peter, Czech Republic; Michael, Toronto; grandson, Matthew Robertson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; brothers, Leo, Phil, Jack and Peter; sisters, Joan, Betty and Marion. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. on Friday in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Saturday at 11a.m. from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, River Bourgeois, with Father Dennis Lamey officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
