CAMPBELL, Margaret Sarah -94, of Centreville, Inverness Co., wife of the late Neil Dan Campbell, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, September 22, 2012, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Margaret was born in Skye Glen on June 18, 1918. She was the daughter of the late John Murdock and Annie MacInnis. Margaret was a homemaker and loved company. No one left the Campbell home without a good cup of tea and a lunch. Margaret was a member of Stewart United Church and Skye Glen United Church Women. She received a Volunteer Recognition Award from the Municipality of Inverness in 2002. Margaret is survived by daughters, Isabel Munro, Marilyn (Allan) Burns; sons, John Murdock (Christina), Barry (Colleen); grandchildren, Neil (Jamie) Burns, Jo-ann (Brian) Ellis, Michelle (Duane) Webber, Jason Campbell, John Bradley (Jacqueline) Campbell, Terry (Erin) Campbell, Nicholas (Theresa) Campbell, Diane (Charlie) Campbell, Joshua (Dessa) Campbell; great-grandchildren, Rya and Gavin Burns, Colten, Matthew, Haylee Dawn Ellis, Madison and Riley Webber, Tyler James and Nathan Kole Campbell, Paige, Aibha and Abigael Campbell and Steven Campbell; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Dolena MacKinnon, Jessie MacKinnon, Phyllis (DJ) Ferguson, Edna MacLennan, Janet (Angus) Scott, Shirley Morrison, Willena (Peter) Parker; brothers, Morrison (Laura) MacInnis, Jackie (Marie) MacInnis. Besides her husband, Margaret was predeceased by grandchildren, Jesslyn, Suzanne and Jennifer Campbell; great-grandchild, Brodie Campbell; sisters, Mae MacKay, Laura MacInnis; brothers, Murdock MacInnis and Stuart MacInnis; sisters-in-law, Flora Smith and Annie Austin; brothers-in-law, Hector MacKinnon, Lauchie MacKinnon, Gordon MacLennan, Jackie Morrison; daughter-in-law, Elaine Campbell. Margaret’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, doctors Bernie and Egar. Special thanks to Johnena Lee for all the support she has given to Margaret and her family. Also thanks to all the home care ladies for their daily visits. Visitation will be held 2-9p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Wednesday from Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh, Rev. David MacLean officiating assisted by Rev. Andrew MacDonald and Rev. Bernie MacDonald. Burial will be in Skye Glen Cemetery. Reception to follow in Skye Glen Community Hall.
