Mombourquette, Victoria "Tory" – 85, L’Ardoise, Richmond Co.; died Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s. Tory was born in L’Ardoise, Richmond Co., a daughter of the late Abraham and Mary (Landry) Martell. Tory was a homemaker and a member of Holy Guardian Angel Parish, L’Ardoise, and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 110, L’Ardoise. She is survived by her loving son, Elmer (Margaret), Sheet Harbour; sister, Annie Mae Mombourquette, Northwood Manor, Halifax; granddaughter Kelly; great-granddaughter, Emily. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Mombourquette and sisters, Margaret, Agnes. Special thanks to the staff of the Richmond Villa for their wonderful care of mom and also to very special friends, Mary Ann Mombourquette and Helen Martell. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in Holy Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church, L’Ardoise with Fr. Mariadoss Lourdusamy officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations in Victoria`s memory may be made to charity of choice.
