Chisholm, Kenneth Gerard, age 63. North Sydney formerly of Port Hawkesbury. Passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Northside General Hospital, North Sydney. Kenneth was born in Antigonish; he was a son of the late Joseph and Rita (Armstrong) Chisholm. Ken was a graduate of Port Hawkesbury Vocational School as a Plumber /Pipefitter. His greatest passion was playing cribbage and fishing (His luck was always super). Ken is survived by his former wife, Donna Hart; daughter, Kara Chisholm; sisters, Jane MacKinnon; Betty Anne MacVicar, Helen (John) MacLean; brothers, Jody (Lillian); Archie; Alan (Debbie). He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by sisters-in-law, Jean Chisholm and Sandra Chisholm; brothers-in-law, Ian MacKinnon and Stirling MacVicar. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. A reception will follow in the church Hall. Memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury.
