COGSWELL, Francis Thomas, 74, Evanston. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, and brother, on Friday, March 6, 2015 in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born August 29, 1940, in Evanston, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah "Sadie" (MacNamara) Cogswell. He is survived by his daughters Charlene (Jerry), Janice (Paul), Annette (Lindsay), and Lori (Craig); sons, Michael (Roseann), Bruce, Gerry (Sandra); grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah (Justin), Erin , Kieran Jenny), Shannon (Brad), Antonia, Paige, Logan, Sabrina, Patrick, Nicole and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Faith, Vienna, Ella, and Liam; brothers, Cecil (Diane), Howard (Anita), Jim (Freda), Eddie (Edna); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Isabel "Belle" Cogswell and sister, Mary Howlett. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 – 9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
