COGSWELL (King), Isabel Jane -74, Evanston. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and sister, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born January 14, 1941, in Long Point, Inverness Co., she was a daughter of the late Harold and Barbara (MacEachern) King. Isabel is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Francis; daughters, Charlene (Jerry) Proctor, Janice (Paul) Davis, Annette (Lindsay) Sampson, Lori (Craig) Curtis; sons, Michael (Roseann), Bruce, Gerry (Sandra); sister, Florence (Butch) Robertson; brothers, Angus (Yolande), Leo (Anne), Dennis (Rose), Joey (Claudette), Charlie, Peter; sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Lola; grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah (Justin), Erin, Kieran (Jenny), Shannon (Brad), Antonia, Paige, Logan, Sabrina, Patrick, Nicole, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Faith, Vienna, Ella and Liam. She was predeceased by sister, Kay McNamara; brothers, Patrick and Alex.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Monday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
