CREMO, Beatrice Elaine "Bea" -48, We’koqma’q First Nation passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, in the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Elizabeth (Isadore) Cremo. She was a member of Blessed Kateri Parish Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, We’koqma’q First Nation.
Surviving are her sisters, Mary Faye (Peter Peck), Wagmatcook; Sadie (John) Sylliboy, Waycobah; brothers, Tommy and Peter, both of Waycobah; godchild, Sarah Peck, Wagmatcook; 6 nieces, Angela Ryan, Brenda, Henrietta, Rebbecca, Victoria and Sarah Peck; 4 nephews, T.J. Cremo, Mark Cremo, Peter Francis Peck and Justin Peck. She was predeceased by sister, Brenda. Special thanks to the staff of the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck and Theresa Cremo Memorial Health Centre and to Andrea Currie and the homecare workers.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, in the Multi Purpose Building, 160 Reservation Rd. We’koqma’q First Nation. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday from Blessed Kateri Parish, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, We’koqma’q First Nation with Father Antolin Asor officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
