CARR, Francis Joseph "Frank" — 84, Guysborough formerly of Manassette Lake, Guys. Co. died Thursday, June 3, 2010, at home. Born in Manassette Lake he was a son of the late Peter Martin and Sarah Louise (Diggins) Carr. Francis was a retired employee of the Dept. of Lands and Forest, Boylston Park and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Francis Harbour. Frank was a kind and gentle man who will be sadly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his twin sister, Theresa O'Neill, Halifax; nephew, Robbie O'Neill, Fredericton, N.B.; grand nephew, John Thompson O'Neill; grand nieces, Margot Elizabeth O'Neill and Mary Kathleen O'Neill. Frank was predeceased by brother, Robert; twins, Alice and Joseph, who died in infancy; and niece, Wanda. Special thanks to Gertie Carr, Ruth Richardson, Home Care workers, Meals On Wheels, friends and neighbours at the senior's complex, Guysborough. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Francis Harbour with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
