Creamer, David “Hughie”- 67, Half Island Cove, Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 23, 2006. Born in Phillips Harbour, Guysborough, Co. he was a son of the late Ivan and Evelyn (Greencorn) Creamer. Hughie was a former member of The Black Watch of the Canadian Armed Forces, owned and operated Creamer Burner Service for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Gracie (Rhynold) of Whitehead ; sons Howard, Jamie, Triston, and Scott; daughter Tina; Sisters Grace, Dessie, Greta, June, and Dellas; brothers Calvin, Floyd, Arnold, Gerry, Morris, and Tony. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren Josh, Marc, and Patrick; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife Christina Bennett, brothers Willard, Havelock, and two brothers in infancy. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Hughie may be made to Half Island Cove Baptist Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
