COTTON, Mary Jessie "Tess" - Judique, passed away peacefully at her home in Judique on Sunday, September 24, 2006. She was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Sarah (MacDonald) MacDonnell (River Street, Inverness). She was a member of St. Andrew's Parish, Judique. Tess lived quietly in service to her family and her church. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her. She is survived by daughter, Ethel (Rex) Gilbert, Cupids, N.L.; sons, Frank (Diane), Nictaux, Annapolis Co.; John (Cathy), Little Judique; Danny (Debbie), Judique; grandchildren, Sabrina, Frazer, Amber, Christopher, Jonathan, Leigha, David, Kalyn, Stephanie, Adam, Daniel, Matthew, Robin, Amy, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Kyla and Makenzie. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dick; sisters, Kay, Florence and Peggy; brothers, Roddie, Jack, Lewis, Leo and Joe. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Judique Men's Club. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacMillan officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Tess may be made to the Tartan Gardens, Judique, or a charity of choice.
