CHISHOLM, Hugh John - 98, Glendale, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Glendale, he was a son of the late Angus and Margaret Jane (MacEachen) Chisholm. Hughie was a retired farmer and a former member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union Local No. 927, a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish, Glendale, and a 3rd degree member and life member of Cape Nova Council No. 7924 K.O.C. Surviving are daughters, Monica (Allan) MacLellan, Glendale; Maureen (Roger) MacIntyre, Port Hawkesbury; sons, Hugh (Anne Marie), Kingsville; Basil, Lawrence (Glenda), both of Glendale; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret Jane MacEachen; sisters, Mary Belle MacInnis, Jessie Chisholm; brothers, Danny and Ronald. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Hughie may be made to Glendale Men's Club. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
