Owen was such a sweetheart and full of joy. From my memories of him at The Dermody's from over the years, I will remember him as a kind boy, who would burst with excitement frequently, who did always have a random fact. So passionate about the things he enjoyed, he was such a happy-go-lucky, "just happy to be here", type of person. I know how much he meant to Dionne, Cole, Adrienne, Wayne, Billy and Helen, and his many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Therefore I can only imagine the hole left in your hearts. From pre-school to graduation, Owen had never changed. His charm, warmness and lust for life made him a wonderful friend. Anyone who really got to know Owen knew there was so much more to his character beneath the surface. While he would always be the funniest guy in the room, I for one can say I have cried laughing on numerous occasions to his jokes and his crazy antics,but he could also be the most genuine and caring friend you have ever had. When Owen would talk about life, you could see in his eyes how much he cared for his friends and family and every other passion he held close to him. you could always tell how much he cared about everyone, he always listened with genuine concern. Owen would never shy away from stopping and chatting with my parents when he would see them in public, he would always joke with my mom Linda in front of me, always teasing me and getting pictures of the two just to see my reaction. Everything Owen did in life he did it to the fullest. I will miss his humor, his laugh and his lifelong friendship. My deepest of condolences go out to his great siblings, Cole and Dionne and his wonderful parents and grandparents, Adrienne, Wayne, Billy, Hellen and the rest of his family.
