DOYLE, Eileen "Ursula"- Age 77, Mulgrave, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016, in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston with her family by her side. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Leo and Mary Virginia (Jellow) Brophy.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave and as well a member of St. Lawrence CWL and the Red Hatter's Society. Ursula was artistic and loved rug hooking and cross stitching. She was known for her affectionate smile and was a beautiful
cook. Special thanks to the Dr's and nurses of the Strait Richmond Hospital and also to her many friends and relatives who visited her often, for that we are forever grateful.
Surviving are her daughter, Rachel DeYoung, Halifax; son, Kurt DeYoung, Amherst; sister, Carol (Allison) England, Mulgrave; nephews, Steven and Jamie. She was predeceased by her husbands, Donald DeYoung, William Smith and Leonard Doyle; brothers, Mark and Joe Brophy.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in Ursula's memory may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society, or to St. Lawrence Parish Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
