DAVID, Marie Margaret - 98, St. Peter's and formerly of Arichat, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the Richmond Villa on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Born in Cape Auguet, NS, Margaret was a daughter of the late Fredric and Evangeline (LeBlanc) Richard. She was a dedicated and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by everyone who met her. Margaret will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marie, Port Hawkesbury; sons, Gerald (Verona), Arichat; Clarence (Carole), Poirierville; and Alfred (Sheila) Pondville; brother, Theophile; and sisters, Georgina and Cecile; grandchildren, Hope, Jarrod, Morgan, Blair, Keith, Serge, Troy, Carrie, Pam, Matthew, Stephanie, Ann and Vanessa; 22 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Amedee David; daughter, Ann; son, Ulysse; siblings, Paul, Ida, Amble, Wilfred, Simon, Charles, Mirin, Madonna, Thomas, Velma, Evangeline and Leonard (Buddy); grandsons, Ken and Brent (in infancy). Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 4, at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Arichat with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Richmond Villa Recreation Department. The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the staff of the Richmond Villa for their excellent care.
