Teresa Vinnie DeCoste, 86, Frankville, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Cape Jack, Antigonish Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Christina (Brow) DeCoste. She was a seamstress and a member of St. Paul's Parish, Havre Boucher, and a former member of the CWL, a member of Havre Boucher Senior Citizens Club and Antigonish Bridge Club. For many years, she collected for March of Dimes. Surviving are daughters, Pamela Phillipsen, Whitehorse, Yukon; Sandra DeCoste (Peter Clarke), Bedford; sons, Francis (Irene), Ottawa; Wilfred (Peggy), Carl (Jean), Gary (Donna), all of Havre Boucher; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; grandson, Glen DeCoste; sisters, Mary Henry and Evelyn Bodean. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in St. Paul's Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be held 3 p.m. Friday in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Father Alex MacLellan officiating.
